Water Tank to be Activated on or About November 12

Recently, the Town has completed construction of a new water tank on Pleasant St. pursuant to the Department of Environmental Protection’s Administrative Order and the 2019 Annual Town Meeting Authorization. The water tank has been designed to provide additional water storage, improve flow and stabilize pressure in the system and will replace the Town’s aged hydropneumatics tanks. The tank has been inspected and approved by MassDEP and the water has been tested and deemed safe. On or about Thursday, November 12, 2020, the tank will be tied into the Dunstable water system and activated. Water customers may experience water discoloration and/or pressure fluctuations in their water systems as the tank is activated. If you experience discoloration, we recommend your run the tap for 5-10 minutes until the water is clear.
