Insurance Advisory Committee

The Insurance Advisory Committee is a statutory committee (MGL Chapter 32B) appointed by the Board of Selectmen whenever the town considers changes to employee insurance options. This committee is made up of representatives of employees and bargaining units from different departments of the town and is chaired by the Treasurer/Collector. The committees role is to consider all proposed changes and advise the Board of Selectmen accordingly. The Board of Selectmen last established the committee in January of 2020.
