The Zoning Board of Appeals is a statutorily established board (MGL Chapter 40A) which hears appeals to zoning provisions under the towns Zoning By-Laws. Their work also includes the issuance of special permits and the granting of variances. The ZBA meets as necessary under timetables determined by statute and works closely with the Town Clerk's office, the Building Inspector/Zoning Enforcement Officer, and the Select Board.
