CodeRED allows the Dunstable Police and Fire Departments, along with other town officials, to quickly deliver important emergency notifications and public safety information to residents and businesses by phone call, text message, and email.

What Types of Alerts Are Sent?

CodeRED may be used for a variety of emergency and public safety situations, including:

• Severe weather emergencies
• Missing or endangered persons
• Evacuations or shelter-in-place notices
• Public safety incidents
• Road closures and traffic alerts
• Water emergencies
• Hazardous material incidents
• Other urgent community notifications

How the System Works

Your contact information is linked to your street address to help ensure notifications are delivered to the appropriate residents and businesses during emergencies affecting specific geographic areas.

The system can send notifications town-wide or target only impacted neighborhoods and areas.

If you are unavailable to answer a call, CodeRED can leave messages on most voicemail and answering systems.

Manage Your Alerts

Residents can:

• Add or update phone numbers, email addresses, and text message preferences
