Special Town Meeting Results

Monday November 13, 2023 - 7pm Swallow Union Elementary School

resultsGood Afternoon and thank you to all of our residents who attended the Special Town Meeting on the evening of November 13, 2023.  We had nearly double the attendance that we had during our Annual Town Meeting in May, so thank you to everyone who took the time to get engaged with the Town's needs, and showing up.

A super special thank you to Marcia Walsh and Girl Scout Troop 82693 for volunteering their time to entertain the children of our town so their parents could attend the meeting.  As always, we appreciate the assistance of the Swallow-Union building team for setting up the space, and Mr. Hamilton for making sure the sound is crisp.

Don't forget, the Special Town Election is scheduled for Thursday, November 30th from 12-8pm at the Dunstable Public Library.  There will be 1 question on the ballot:  "Shall the Town of Dunstable be allowed to exempt from the provisions of proposition two and one-half, so-called, the amounts required to pay for the bond issued in order to pay for the financing, planning, designing, permitting, and constructing of water infrastructure improvements in order to bring potable drinking water to the Groton Dunstable Regional High School and private homes, required due to per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) contamination in ground water supply sources, and all other costs incidental and related thereto?"
