Memorial Day Ceremonies - Sunday, May 28, 2023 - 1pm

Please join the Town of Dunstable to commemorate Memorial Day and the heroes who have lost their lives defending our country. This year’s remembrance will be the Revolutionary War.

1:00 PM: Memorial Day Parade kicks off from the Public Library. The route follows Main Street from the library to Town Hall. At Town Hall, a brief speaking program will take place moderated by the Select Board Chair, Kieran Meehan and with special guest speaker, our new State Representative Margaret Scarsdale, highlighting Dunstable during the Revolutionary War and the first one hundred years of Dunstable’s history. There will also be the Presentation of Quilt by the Quilting Group to Walter Alterisio.

1:45 PM: Following the speaking program at Town Hall, the parade continues with a ceremony at Central Cemetery where Alan Chaney will speak about the 62 members of the Revolutionary War militia from the Town of Dunstable.

After the Parade, all are invited back to the Town Common for refreshments sponsored by Dunstable’s 350 Anniversary Committee. We hope to see you there.
