Major Budget Changes

In this current Fiscal Year, FY24, the Town has pursued opportunities to deliver services more efficiently by regionalizing certain Town services. The Town has been able to reduce the budgets of the Town Clerk and Treasurer/Collector due to shared service arrangements with the Town of Pepperell. Additionally, the Town is in the process of transferring to a regional emergency communications center in Pepperell, Patriot. These decisions were driven by the Select Board goals for FY24 and the online resident survey conducted by the Town demonstrated residents ranked regionalization of services high as a strategy to help balance the budget.
