Capital Improvement for Municipal Departments & Water System Infrastructure Improvements

Articles 7 and 8 requests Town Meeting approve capital expenditures funded through the General Fund and Water Enterprise Retained Earnings. The Town is seeking approval for capital purchases and projects in the amount of $119,344 for the Police, Fire, and Highway Departments. The Water Department is requesting approval to use $35,000 of Water Enterprise Retained Earnings to fund MassDEP mandated improvements to the Town’s municipal water supply, including a permanent water disinfection system required to be installed.
