Annual Town Election 2024 - Everything You Need To Know

This is an exciting time of year for the Town - time for our Annual Town Meeting and subsequent Annual Town Election.  Although there is only one contested race on the ballot this year, GDRSD School Committee Rep., in our small town, every vote counts.  And with the ease in which you can cast your vote for this upcoming election, we are hoping to have another great voter turnout.  Below you will find everything you need to know to make sure you're ready to vote on Tuesday, May 21st (or sooner - your choice!).  If you have any questions, please contact the Town Clerk's office.


The Annual Town Election will be held on May 21, 2024. Things you need to know:

  • If you are not currently registered to vote, the last day to register is May 10, 2024. 
  • Vote by Mail applications are due by Thursday, May 16th.
  • Vote by Mail ballots must be received at the Dunstable Town Hall by 8pm on May 21, 2024. There is a locked ballot box available 24x7 outside of the side entrance.
    • Please note, vote by mail ballots received after 8pm on 5/21/24 will not be counted. To ensure your ballot is received and counted, we recommend, if possible, using the locked ballot box instead of postal mail.
  • Early voting will be held at Town Hall on the following days/times:
    • Saturday, May 11th 9am-3pm
    • Monday, May 13th 9am-5pm
    • Tuesday, May 14th 9am-5pm
    • Wednesday, May 15th 9am-5pm
    • Thursday, May 16th 9am-5pm
  • Polls will be open from 12pm - 8pm on May 21, 2024. All voters will vote at the Dunstable Public Library.
