NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETINGS AND COMMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Northern Middlesex Metropolitan Planning Organization (NMMPO) has released for public comment the draft FFY 2022-2026 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The TIP is a programming and management document containing all federally funded transportation projects planned over the next 5 years. Copies of the draft document can be found at www.nmcog.org.
There are two virtual public meetings currently scheduled. First, a public meeting to receive comments on the draft TIP will be held on May 12, 5:30 PM. You may also submit comments by phone at (978) 454-8021, ext. 121, or by email: [email protected] or by mailing to NMCOG, 40 Church Street, Suite 200, Lowell MA 01852. The public comment period for the TIP ends May 21. The second is a meeting of the NMMPO scheduled for May 26 at 2:00 PM, when the Draft FFY 2022-2026 TIP will be considered for endorsement. The NMMPO’s public participation process satisfies the LRTA’s public participation requirements for the program of projects.
