Annual Town Election

The Annual Town Election is Tuesday, May 18, polls are open between Noon and 8:00 pm at the Dunstable Free Public Library. The deadline to register to vote for the Annual Town Meeting and Annual Town Election is Monday, April 26, 2021. You may register in person or by mail (postmarked no later than the final registration date). Persons who are United States Citizens, residents of Dunstable, and who will be at least 18 years old on or before November 8 are eligible to register. Those meeting these qualifications who have a Massachusetts Driver’s License can submit their registration online at www.sec.state.ma.us/ovr/.  Reference:  MGL Chapter 52:26

Note of Deadline to File Absentee Ballot Application

The deadline to apply for an absentee ballot for the May 18th Annual Town Election is 12:00 pm on Monday, May 17, 2021. You may vote absentee if you are unable to vote at the polls on election day due to (1) absence from Dunstable during normal polling hours; (2) physical disability prevents you from going to your polling place; or (3) religious belief. To vote absentee at the Town Clerk’s office, please contact the Town Clerk to vote at a time arranged with the Town Clerk. Applications are at Town Hall or you can download at www.dunstable-ma.gov; go to the Town Clerk’s Page, click on Elections and then Absentee Voting.

You can also file a Vote by Mail application in response to the legislature extending Chapter 115 of the Acts of 2020. Those applications are also online. The last day to have a ballot mailed is Wednesday, May 12, 2021 in accordance with H4820.
