Open Space and Recreation Plan

Preserving Our Natural Resources, Enhancing Community Recreation

Our Town is committed to maintaining and improving our open spaces and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. The Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) serves as a guiding document to protect natural resources, expand recreational access, and plan for future conservation efforts.

The Town updated the OSRP in March of 2026 to ensure it reflects the needs of our community and aligns with state requirements. Keeping the plan current also qualifies us for state grants and funding opportunities that support land conservation and recreational projects. The OSRP is a ten-year plan covering from 2026 to 2036.

Community participation was vital in shaping the Town’s OSRP.
