Open Space and Recreation Plan Update

Preserving Our Natural Resources, Enhancing Community Recreation

Our Town is committed to maintaining and improving our open spaces and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. The Open Space & Recreation Plan (OSRP) serves as a guiding document to protect natural resources, expand recreational access, and plan for future conservation efforts.

Our OSRP expires in March of 2025. We are currently in the process of updating our OSRP, ensuring it reflects the needs of our community and aligns with state requirements. This update will help us qualify for state grants and funding opportunities that support land conservation and recreational projects.

Why Update the Plan?

  • Identify priorities for open space preservation and recreational development.
  • Address environmental and climate resilience challenges.
  • Ensure continued eligibility for state funding.
  • Gather community input to shape future projects and investments.

Get Involved!

Community participation is vital to shaping the future of our town’s open space and recreation. We invite residents to share their thoughts and ideas as the update process moves forward.
