GDRSD End of Year Forum: Preview of Coming Attractions

Good afternoon,

We are so thankful for the time we were able to spend with your children this year! Finishing the year the way we did  - in person, five days a week - seems like a miracle! We hope that your students have a great summer. In order to wrap up the year and to give those of you who are interested a "preview of coming attractions", the GDRSD School Committee and I would like to invite you to attend an end-of-the-year forum on Wednesday, June 23. The forum will be divided into two sessions - 6:00 - 7:00 for Groton residents and 7:00 - 8:00 for Dunstable residents. The 6:00 - 7:00 session will contain a brief update on the Florence Roche building project,  which will be of special interest to Groton parents, although parents from both communities are invited to attend either session. School committee members from Groton will be present at the first session and those representing Dunstable will be present at the second session.

BOTH SESSIONS WILL BE HELD IN THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER OF THE MIDDLE SCHOOL SOUTH. We are using the PAC so there will be more than enough seating for all attendees and A/C which is quieter than the system at the high school to facilitate appropriate temperature, while still allowing for all voices to be heard.

The end of the year forum will be broadcast on the Groton Channel. All those who wish to speak will need to be in person.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Laura S. Chesson, Superintendent
