Open Space and Recreation Plan Draft Available for Public Comment
Following an extensive and inclusive planning process, attached is a draft of the Dunstable Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) now available for public comment. Comments must be in writing and can be emailed to [email protected] or delivered to Dunstable Town Hall, 511 Main St, Dunstable, MA 01827, Attention Jason Silva by Friday, January 9 2026.
Updated every seven years, the Open Space and Recreation Plan (OSRP) provides an inventory and assessment of the condition of open space, natural resources, parks, and other recreation facilities within the Town of Dunstable. Based on this assessment, as well as input from the community, a set of goals and objectives has been developed to outline a vision for the town’s parks and open spaces. The OSRP also includes a Ten Year Action Plan.
Maintaining a current OSRP allows the Town of Dunstable to remain eligible for state, federal, and non-profit funding for parkland improvements and acquisitions. These funding sources are allocated to communities that have engaged in comprehensive planning to determine how best to meet local needs through programs and investments that address multiple objectives.
