Special Election Updates from the Town Clerk

The Special Election for Select Board will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dunstable Public Library.

Voter Registration Deadline
July 11, 2026


Early Voting

Early voting will be available at Town Hall on the following dates:

  • Monday, July 13 – Thursday, July 16: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • Friday, July 17: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM


Vote by Mail

More than 300 vote-by-mail ballots were mailed on June 30, 2026, to residents currently registered to vote by mail.

Residents who wish to apply for a vote-by-mail ballot may do so online at:

https://www.dunstable-ma.gov/townclerk/ste2026

Vote-by-Mail Application Deadline: Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM

Completed vote-by-mail ballots may be returned by mail or deposited in the secure locked ballot drop box located outside Town Hall. The Town Clerk recommends using the ballot drop box to ensure timely receipt.

Please note: Vote-by-mail ballots must be received by the Town Clerk's Office no later than 8:00 PM on Election Day, July 21, 2026. Ballots that arrive after this deadline cannot be counted, regardless of the postmark date. If returning a ballot by mail, please allow adequate time for delivery.


Residents are encouraged to make a voting plan and take note of all applicable deadlines to ensure their participation in this Special Election.
