Step inside a piece of living history! Join the Tyngsborough-Dunstable Historical Society for a special evening celebrating the legacy of America’s one-room schoolhouses.
The featured speaker, Susan Fineman, is a retired Lowell Public Schools teacher with 31 years of experience and a 30-year resident of Nashua. She is a founding member and current Board Director of the Country School Association of America (CSAA) — a national nonprofit dedicated to preserving and promoting the history of one-room schools across the country.
Learn how these humble buildings helped shape a literate and patriotic citizenry, and discover the inspiring efforts being made nationwide to preserve them for future generations.
