Join us at the next Board of Selectmen meeting on Tuesday, November 7 at 5 PM for a presentation and discussion on the Town’s Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness planning work to-date. You can RSVP here: tinyurl.com/DunstablePublicMeeting. If you haven’t completed the MVP survey, we’ve extended the deadline until November 7 so there’s still time. You can find it here: tinyurl.com/DunstableHMPsurvey.

The Town secured a Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) program grant from the Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EOEEA) in the amount of $37,000 to complete a community resiliency and hazard mitigation planning process and, in addition, to examine the community’s vulnerabilities and strengths and identify priority actions to build resilience as the climate changes.

Communities that complete the MVP program become certified as an MVP community and are eligible for MVP Action Grant funding and other opportunities. For more information please visit EOEEA's website at https://www.mass.gov/municipal-vulnerability-preparedness-mvp-program.
