A Message from Joe Dean: Memorial Day Parade Canceled

I am deeply sorry that I must cancel the Memorial Day parade this coming Sunday. The weather predictions are becoming worse for this Sunday and I cannot ask for anyone to stand out in the rain and have all of the electronic equipment be ruined because of the rain. This year we were planning to focus on the war of 1812 and those from Dunstable who were in that war. They will not be forgotten though, as we will be remembering them next year.
On Monday, weather permitting, I will still be placing the wreaths on each of the monuments for those who committed their lives for our freedom. I do encourage each of you to stop by and take a moment for each of them to remember the sacrifices they gave for your freedom.
