May is Mental Health Awareness Month
Yesterday, our community witnessed a difficult event outside Dunstable Town Hall involving an individual in crisis. Thanks to the swift response of Dunstable Police, Fire, Trinity Ambulance, and departments in the region, the individual was treated and transported for emergency care. Our thoughts are with this individual and their loved ones during this difficult time.
This incident is a reminder that mental health is just as important as physical health and that many people carry invisible burdens. Remember, everyone is fighting battles you may not see. Treat people with kindness and compassion. You never know what someone else may be going through.
If you or someone you know is struggling, help is available 24/7.
