Groton St. Traffic Delays - Water System Expansion

Residents are advised that construction related to the Groton-Dunstable Water System Expansion Project is scheduled to begin on or about September 9, 2026 along Groton Street. The work includes installation of a new water main and associated infrastructure and is expected to last approximately two to three weeks, weather permitting. 

During construction, Groton Street will remain open to local traffic only, with police details on site to assist motorists through the work zone. Residents should anticipate temporary traffic delays, construction activity, and periodic noise during normal working hours, generally between 7am and 5pm.
