May 19, 2026 Annual Town Election

  • Monday, February 9, 2026 - first day to obtain nomination papers
  • Thursday, March 26, 2026 by 5:00PM - last day to obtain nomination papers
  • Tuesday, March 31, 2026 by 5:00PM - last day to submit nomination papers
  • Thursday, April 16, 2026 - last day for objections / withdrawals from the race

Seats available are as follows:

  • (2) Advisory Board – 3 year term
  • (1) Board of Assessors – 3 year term
  • (1) Board of Health – 3 year term
  • (1) Cemetery Commission – 3 year term
  • (1) Commissioners of Trust Fund – 3 year term
  • (2) Constable – each a 1 year term
  • (1) Library Trustee – 3 year term
  • (1) Planning Board – 5 year term
  • (1) Road Commissioner – 3 year term
  • (1) School Committee (GDRSD) – 3 year term
  • (1) School Committee (GLRTHS) – 3 year term
  • (1) Water Commissioner – 3 year term
  • (1) Select Board – 3 year term

Candidates must have twenty (25) certified voter’s signatures on their nomination papers to have their name placed on the ballot.

THE LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE FOR THE ANNUAL TOWN ELECTION IS SATURDAY, MAY 9, 2026.
