A huge thank you to the Fireman's Association for hosting a delicious breakfast for over 30 participants at town hall before our excursion to Groton Hill Music Center to see Television, Stage & Movie performer BeBe Wood in concert. It was a great day of community connection and live music.
Peacock Players: ALL SHOOK UP featuring the music of Elvis Presley. We are planning an excursion to see this musical in Nashua on Saturday May 16th 2 p.m. Matinee. Council on aging is purchasing a block of 25 tickets and will cover part of the ticket. We are asking for $10 per ticket. These tickets will be transferable but non-refundable once you sign up. We are also planning to gather for lunch ( not covered by COA) at Casa Vieja Mexican Grill just a short walk from the venue. To reserve your space, you must pay in advance. Payment can be at the senior luncheon or cash/check at Town Hall Upper Level attention : Chuck or by mailing in your payment to Dunstable C.O.A. 511 Main Street, Dunstable MA 01827 Checks can be made out to Town of Dunstable. Please include contact information when leaving or mailing payment. Only 8 Spaces Left
Upcoming Weekly Wednesday Luncheons at The Dunstable Public Library (unless noted otherwise). Please remember to ensure we have enough food, your reservation for lunch must be made by the prior Wednesday. You can sign up at the luncheon or by reaching out to Chuck at [email protected] or 978-649-4514x223 A suggested contribution of $5 from those who can afford it, is greatly appreciated to offset costs, this is voluntary please do not let it stop you from attending. Lunch is served at Noon but the space is available from 10-2 p.m. Before and after lunch, there are several games you can join in on including Scrabble & Mexican Train Dominoes. Please see individual dates for unique entertainment or guests.

April 8th - Monthly Bingo with Cash Prizes! Lunch is by Traveling Chef. Whole Wheat Wraps either Tuna or Marinated Chicken Breast with provolone, roasted peppers & basil with Garden Salad and/or Potato Salad. Lunch is $5.00 for all residents 55 plus. ALL ADULTS are welcome to Bingo for $5.00
April 15- Turkey and Swiss Sandwiches with Pesto Pasta Salad and Corn Chowder
April 22nd - Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken
April 29th - Grilled Hot Dog with baked beans and cinnamon apples.
EXERCISE PROGRAM
Bone Builders Exercise Class is free to residents at the Dunstable Public Library on Wednesdays at 10:30 A.M. and Friday at 11:15 A.M. If you have not participated before, please feel free to stop by to observe and pick up enrollment paperwork.
FREE! Fit Over 50 "Fitness Fusion Class" - As part of a Wellness Grant from Age Span this has been extended through February. This is a great class for those who are looking for a class that might be a little more challenging than Bone Builders. This Class Meets Monday Mornings at 11:30 a.m. at Town Hall Lower Level and is FREE! Fitness Fusion combines a variety of exercise styles to offer a low impact but powerful session that targets all areas of the body with great music and a fun atmosphere with a great instructor from the YMCA. This class is typically $10 so if you haven't tried it yet, come join in on Mondays while the cost is covered for you. There will be no class on President's Day April 20th

THIS WEEKEND The recreation commission is excited to welcome back Spiritual Medium Laura Wooster to Town Hall on March 29th at 1:30 p.m. The last time Laura visited bringing messages from spirit, they had over 80 people at Town Hall for an unforgettable experience. Adventures in the Spring Garden! Growing your own food is a rewarding and tasty way to spend a summer in your yard. It’s also a good way reduce your grocery bills and provide food for your family in uncertain times. This class covers step by step “how-to’s” for selecting, preparing and planting a garden site, and provides tips and tricks for making your garden adventures a success! Dunstable Library Tuesday April 7th 6:30- 7:45pm FREE thanks to a grant from the Dunstable Cultural Council!
