Active Aging Quote : “Old age is always 15 years older than I am.” —Oliver Wendell Holmes This one is dedicated to all those folks who tell us they aren't " Old Enough" for The COA's Active Aging Programs for residents 55 and over.
We had a busy week with two great events! Thank you to the GD School Committee for hosting an intergenerational dinner at the High School. We were treated to a delicious Italian Meal, music from the chamber choir, raffles and connections with the staff and students. We also visited Greater Lowell Vocational High School for lunch at The Artisan, the student run restaurant. We always enjoy dining together for this delicious meal prepared and served by the students. The COA collaborated with Powers of Flowers to have flower arrangements for all the guests to take home in celebration of Mother's Day. We wish all of you a Mother's Day that delivers everything you may hope for it to be.
