VETERAN'S CORNER with Joe Dean.

We are excited to announce that Joe Dean will be sharing information monthly with this newsletter to enhance service to our veterans.

Greetings fellow Vets and families. I am going to start putting in some information at least once a month that I hope you will be able to use for you and your family.
This month I want to inform you a little about the HERO act for veterans and their families. For those of you who are 100% disabled you are eligible for a $2000 Annuity Payment. This is for you and your wife for life. The Executive Office of Veteran Services (EVOS) has successfully processed their August 1st Annuity Payment. If you have already signed up for this it may take time for their financial institutions to process the payments and make the funds available.
For those of you who have not signed up for it all you have to do is go the EVOS website at https://www.mass.gov/how-to/how-to-apply-for-veteran-annuity-benefits. Please contact me if you have any questions.
