Thank you to the Police Association for hosting our annual Senior Holiday Luncheon held at Town Hall this week.   A delicious meal of Short Ribs, Mashed Potatoes, Salad, Green Beans and a Desert Crumble with fresh fruit with Caramel Drizzeled Ice Cream was prepared and served by students from Greater Lowell Vocational School and we even had a surprise visit from Santa Claus and one of his helpful eves.

Digital Equity with AgeSpan.  Digital Devices help us connect with friends and loved ones, access patient portals, games, music, television, movies, telehealth appointments and much more.   For Residents aged 60 plus Age Span is here to help with access.   If you currently own a device and would like some help understanding and utilizing it,  they are offering a one hour in home or public meeting place session to provide training.    If you do not own any type of device ( Tablet/Ipad, Computer, Laptop) you are eligible to receive a FREE TABLET, Training and 1 Year Data Service.    If you are interested in taking advantage of either of these options please contact Molly Gerbutavich at 978-651-3033 or [email protected] as soon as possible as quantities are limited. 

Council on Aging is again partnering with the Highway Department to offer free salt Mix Delivery to residents who are unable to go to to the pick up location.    The first snowfall will be here before we know it so please make your request as soon as possible, as delivery wait time is approximately 2 weeks.   Contact Kristina Hooper at    (978) 649-4514 Ext. 227 to request delivery. 

Upcoming Weekly Wednesday Luncheons at The Dunstable Public Library (unless noted otherwise).   Please remember to ensure we have enough food, your reservation for lunch must be made by the prior Wednesday.   You can sign up at the luncheon or by reaching out to Chuck at [email protected] or 978-649-4514x223     A cash donation of $3-5 from those who can afford it, is greatly appreciated to offset costs.  Lunch is served at Noon but the space is available from 10-2 p.m.  Before and after lunch, there are several games you can join in on including Scrabble & Mexican Train Dominoes.

 December 17th-  Year End Luncheon with Special Carving Station Meal of Roast Beef and Turkey with all the fixings!    We will also be having our annual holiday swap!   Bring a wrapped gift valued at Approximately $15.00 to unwrap, swap/steal and just have fun.   The best gifts are consumable or usable. Volunteers from Council on Aging will also be delivering meals to seniors who are housebound and can not join us.   The final day to request a meal delivery is tomorrow ( 12/12/25 by 5 pm est).   If you would like delivery please email Chuck with your address, number of meals requested ( for seniors only please) and if you need something more than a contactless drop off on the afternoon of the 17th. 

January 7th-  New Year's Celebration with Asian Veggie & Rice Bowl.   Chicken or Tofu ( for the Vegetarians who have requested more Vegetarian Options).   Also after the success of our trial run we will be offering monthly BINGO with Gift Card & Cash Prizes.  $10 for Lunch and 5 bingo games.   $5.00 for lunch or bingo only. 

January 14th- Taco Day with a beef taco meal catered by Dinner Made Simple.  Tacos, Rice, Beans and Guacamole with a delicious dessert.   Always one of our favorite meals.   Computer Help Available from Dean. 

January 24th - Stuffed Chicken with Broccoli and Cheese with Orzo

January 28th - Pizza Party- celebrating the birthdays of the month. 

Bone Builders Exercise Class is free to residents at the Dunstable Public Library on Wednesdays at 10:30 A.M. and Friday at 11:15 A.M.  If you have not participated before, please feel free to stop by to observe and pick up enrollment paperwork.  Due to the holidays the classes scheduled for Christmas Eve and New Years Eve will be offered on the Monday of that week at 10:30 a.m at the library. 

FREE!  Fit Over 50 "Barre Fusion Class"  -  As part of a Wellness Grant from Age Span - The next 5 week session of Barre Fusion each Monday at 11:30 am at Town Hall Lower Level is FREE!   If you haven't tried this class with YMCA instructor Eva, now is your chance with No Charge.   This is a great class for those who are looking for a class that might be a little more challenging than Bone Builders.   Come work off those Turkey Dinners!

Senior Game Night with Troop 28-  Troop 28 would like to invite any seniors who would like to join in for a game night with the troop on Monday 12/15 from 7:00- 8:30 pm at the Union School can reach out to Matthew Clapper for more information and to express your intent to participate.  He can be reached at [email protected]

Health and Wellness

We are excited to announce that the Monthly Wellness Check Visits with a nurse returns in January.   The fourth Wednesday of every month from 11 a.m.- Noon starting on January 28,2026.
