PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

On Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at 5:45pm the Select Board of the Town of Dunstable will conduct a Public Hearing on a request by National Grid and Verizon New England, Inc., pursuant to M.G.L. Chapter 166, §22, requesting permission to install 1 JO Pole on Pleasant St. Extension beginning at a point approximately 200 feet SE of the centerline of the intersection of Pleasant St. Extension and Pleasant St. Install (1) midspan pole on Pleasant St. Extension. Pole is in support of substation improvements. 

Also for permission to lay and maintain underground laterals, cables, and wires in the above or intersecting public ways for the purpose of making connections with such poles and buildings as each of said petitioners may desire for distributing purposes.  Your petitioner agrees to reserve space for one cross-arm at a suitable point on each of said poles for the fire, police, telephone, and telegraph signal wires belonging to the municipality and used y it exclusively for municipal purposes.

All interested parties are invited to attend the public hearing and provide oral and/or written comments to the Select Board on or before October 26, 2026.  The application may be reviewed on the town’s website https://dunstable-ma.gov
