Town Accountant
Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Town Accountant is to keep a complete set of records of all town appropriations, receipts, and expenditures in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws. This office prepares all accounts payable and payroll warrants for town departments, as well as all monthly and annual reports for local, state, and federal purposes.
