As a note, the statistics in the report are based on testing done throughout 2020 and prior years. The Dunstable Water Dept. uses ground water as its source through the use of two wells located off Main Street near Salmon Brook. The primary service area is the center of town with 101 connections which cover such buildings as the Town Hall, Swallow-Union Elementary, the Police and Fire Stations and more. The system was installed approximately around 1909 and is well over 100 years old. Most recently the system was updated via the Water Infrastructure Project which replaced the towns century old hydropneumatic tanks with the new Water Tower which is off the new Simmons Street and is visible from Pleasant Street near the Post Office.
