Nomination Papers Now Available for Greater-Lowell Regional School Committee

Nomination papers have been received from the Secretary of the Commonwealth for the position of Greater Lowell Regional School Committee, Dunstable representative.  They may be obtained at the Office of the Town Clerk.  Candidates must submit nomination papers to local registrars of voters for certification no later than 5:00 pm on Tuesday, July 26.  Candidates must obtain a minimum of 50 signatures throughout the district (Dunstable, Tyngsborough, Dracut and Lowell).  It is recommended to obtain more in case any are disqualified. 

It is the candidate's responsibility to get the certified papers from the local registrars and deliver them to the clerk of the regional school district on or before the filing deadline.  A candidate must be a registered voter in the Town of Dunstable and must obtain a certificate of voter registration from the Town Clerk.  

The Greater Lowell Regional School Committee positions are a 4 year term, elected on the State Ballot in November.
