Board of Health Trash & Recycling Update

TRASH AND RECYCLING SUBSCRIBERS

If you are trying to renew your subscription, become a new subscriber or purchase trash bags during the COVID-19 pandemic you have the following options. 

For renewals:

  • You can mail a $300.00 check made payable to the Town of Dunstable to PO Box 268, Dunstable, MA 01827.
  • You can put a check in an envelope and drop it off at the Town Hall mail slot in the main enterance door that faces Common Street.
  • You can pay online by clicking here

For new subscribers:

  • If you would like to sign up for May and/or June you may do so. The subscription year is on the Massachusetts fiscal year which runs from July 1 to June 30. The cost of participation is pro-rated based upon when in the fiscal year a resident signs up. So, if a resident signs up in July, they will pay $300. If a resident signs up in March they will pay $100. Renewal happens for the next year the following July and the cost is $300 regardless of when the resident signed up in the prior fiscal year.
  • Payment is the same as for renewal. A check may be mailed, dropped off at the Town Hall, or payment may be made online.
  • Please include contact information such as email, phone number, and address if mailing or dropping off payment. For online payments this information will be gathered as part of the payment process.
  • After payment has been received and processed the Board of Health Agent will contact you to arrange receipt of your trash and recycling contianers.
  • Pickup is on Thursday mornings at 7 am. The town is contracted with Shaw's for this service. For information on holidays and bulky item pick up please click here.

For overflow trash bags:

  • Overflow bags are $15 for a roll of 5
  • Payment is the same as for renewal. A check may be mailed, dropped off at the Town Hall, or payment may be made online.
  • Please include contact information such as email, phone number, and address if mailing or dropping off payment. For online payments this information will be gathered as part of the payment process.
  • After payment has been received and processed the Board of Health Agent will contact you to arrange receipt of your trash bags.
