Board of Health Playground Advisory

The Dunstable Board of Health in response to COVID-19 and the Local State of Emergency has ordered the closing of the Swallow-Union Playground and the playground equipment located at Larter Field. The Massachusetts Department of Public Health has concluded that the coronavirus can last on surfaces such as metal for several days. Mass DPH also strongly recommends social distancing as the virus can easily transmit person to person. Parents are asked to keep their children from playing with or congregating around playground equipment at this time. This order does not close Larter Field at this time, the field may still be used for certain activities so long as social distancing is being practiced.
