NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING AND COMMENT OPPORTUNITY: DRAFT FFY 2021 UNIFIED PLANNING WORK PROGRAM AND COORDINATED HUMAN SERVICES TRANSPORTATION PLAN
The Northern Middlesex Metropolitan Planning Organization (NMMPO) has released for public comment the draft FFY 2021 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) and the draft 2020 Coordinated Human Services Transportation Plan (CHSTP). The UPWP outlines activities to be undertaken by MPO staff over the next federal fiscal year. The CHSTP lays out strategies to address transportation needs for older adults and disabled residents, through enhanced coordination of existing transportation services in the region. Comments may be submitted by phone at (978) 454-8021, ext. 121, by email: [email protected] or by U.S. mail addressed to NMCOG, 40 Church Street, Suite 200, Lowell MA 01852. The public comment period ends June 19, 2020. A Zoom meeting of the NMMPO will be held on June 24, 2020 at 2:00 PM to consider endorsement of the above documents. The NMMPO’s public participation process satisfies the LRTA’s public participation requirements for the program of projects.
