Right to Farm

The Town of Dunstable has adopted the Right to Farm Bylaw and, as such, requires a Right to Farm Disclosure Notification to be presented to the buyer(s) or occupant(s) of property in the Town of Dunstable not later than 21 days after a purchase & sale agreement is entered into, or prior to the sale or exchange of real property if no purchase and sale agreement exists, or prior to the acquisition of a leasehold interest or other possessor interest in real property located in the Town of Dunstable,

Annual reminders are sent out to all residents.

Field Drivers

One of the town's traditional positions, Field Drivers take up untended animals such as horses, sheep, goats, swine, asses, and cattle going at large in public ways or commons or unimproved land not under care of a keeper and impounds them. We vote each year to have the Selectmen appoint these officers.

Fence Viewers

One of the town's traditional positions, responsible for inspecting fences to ensure they are in good repair. In case of disputes between neighbors, works to resolve their differences. We vote each year to have the Selectmen appoint these officers.
