Parents and little ones - here is a great way for you to learn about springtime together in the great outdoors! The Nashua River Watershed Association (NRWA) Spring Peepers program is a four-week exploration of the natural world in spring. We will learn through discovery about tree buds, baby animals, the mystery of mud, and more. Come share in this exciting season with us! Participants should come dressed for the outdoors. Calling all parents and grandparents who would like to learn more about the natural world around you as a way to better connect with the outdoors and with your children. Spend the morning exploring Groton's flora and fauna with Nashua River Watershed Association's River Classroom Director Stacey Chilcoat and come away with great hands-on ideas for sharing nature with children. The two workshops run Wednesday, April 2, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a focus on land ecosystems and Wednesday, April 9, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a focus on water ecosystems.
The Massachusetts Commission on the Status of Women has announced their selections for 2008. Ruth has been selected as the Dunstable community's Unsung Heroine of 2008.
Ruth was nonimated for this honor by Senator Steven C. Panagiotakos.

Dear Residents,
As many of you are aware, this past fiscal year was a financial nightmare for the town. Our government officials had to cut all non-essential cost in the budget and the $550, which has been allocated to the Memorial Day Parade over the years, was unfortunately one of those line items.
