Property taxes are due quarterly on August 1, November 1, February 1, and May 1.

Property is assessed for local tax purposes at its full and fair cash value, as of January 1 of each year. Every three years, every community's assessments must be reviewed by the State Commissioner of Revenue and certified as meeting legal standards. The next reviews are scheduled for: F/Y2008 and F/Y2011.
