Dog License Late Fees and Fines Now in Effect

A $25.00 late fee and $10.00 fine, in addition to the cost of the licenses is now being collected by the Animal Control Officer for owners who have not licensed their dogs.  Please remember if you are new to town, or have a new dog, please be sure to license the dog within 30 days.   A current rabies certificate is needed.

Zoning Board of Appeals - Full Member Position Vacancy

The Zoning Board of Appeals will have a vacancy for a full member position, the term to expire on June 30, 2009. Anyone interested in serving as a volunteer on the Board is asked to contact Lisa O'Connell at 978-649-4408 before June 30, 2008.

A word about the ballot question related to the school budget override from Richard W. Larkin, Town Counsel:

As some of you know, the article to appropriate $30,552.00 as a supplementary budget was passed over at the Annual Town Meeting after Superintendent Genovese advised the meeting the District had squeezed the budget down.

However, this does not mean the override ballot question ( Question #2) is a nullity.

The Advisory Committee (Fincom) has released the Town budget, along with their overview of the town's present financial position as we prepare for this year's town meeting.

2007 Dunstable Town Report

Dunstable's 2007 Town Report is now available in pdf format on this site, in the Town Reports folder under Documents and attached below.

Hard copies will be delivered later this month. Once the warrants for May's Annual & Special Town Meetings have been posted, they too will be posted on the Town website.

Note: The final posted warrants may contain some changes from that printed in the Annual Town Report due to printing deadlines, etc.

Special Notice for Property Owners regarding Snow Removal & the Town's Anti-Litter Bylaw Provisions

Note following excerpt from the Town's Anti Litter Bylaw:

§2. Whoever shall discard, shovel, throw or pile snow in a public way after Police warning not to do so shall be punished by a fine of Twenty-Five Dollars.
