On Saturday, May 31st at 2 pm at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Westford, the All Together Now Family Chorus will be performing a concert titled “When I First Came To This Land: America’s Past Through Song.” The songs range from old folk songs to Rogers and Hammerstein, and represent key points in American history while showcasing different genres of American music.
St. Mark’s is located at 75 Cold Spring Road in Westford. Refreshments will be served after the concert. A donation at the door of $2 per person or $5 per family is requested. Proceeds will go to Habitat For Humanity.
The chorus is made up of over twenty families from the area, and is unusual in that parents sing alongside their children. The children range in age from 5 to 15. Two families from Dunstable will be performing.
