Posting of Meeting Notices
The Town Clerk’s Office maintains a listing of all meetings for each board and committee in the Town of Dunstable, including the Groton-Dunstable Regional School Committee meetings. The Town of Dunstable adheres to the Massachusetts Open Meeting Laws. Official notice of all open meetings are posted at the Town Hall.
The Massachusetts Open Meeting Law applies to governmental entities at the state, county and local levels. In general these laws require that meetings of such entities be open to the public, that notice of such meetings be publicly posted and that accurate records of the meeting be maintained and also available to the public.
Each new member of a governmental body must be given a copy of the Open Meeting Law by the Town Clerk, and must sign a receipt.
