Attend the Lyme Disease Informational Coffee, hosted by GDAY
At the Main Street Café, Monday June 9th 9-11 am
Come talk with the Nashoba Associated Board of Health and obtain lyme literature while you have a free coffee generously donated by the Groton Dunstable Alliance for Youth!
View an age specific Lyme Disease Video at your school this week during Health Class!
Obtain Lyme Disease Literature which will be made available at various local businesses around Groton all week!
Visit Lyme-aid! A Lyme Disease Awareness Fair to be held on June 10th (School ½ day) at the Groton Dunstable Middle School. There will be a bake sale, balloons, face paints, tick awareness bracelets, tick remover kits and plenty of literature available! Kids of all ages welcome!
Watch “Around Town” with Jane Bouvier on Groton Public Access, live at 7:30 pm Thursday, June 12th, for an informative panel discussion with Dr. Luz Ruiz, lyme literate doctor from Nashoba Valley Hospital, and Donna Castle, Lyme Support Group organizer.
Attend a screening of a new lyme documentary “Under Our Skin” at Lawrence Academy, June 13th, 7:00 pm, hosted by the Groton Film Society. This audience choice award finalist at the Tribeca Film Festival is a dramatic tale of microbes, medicine and money, this eye-opening film investigates the untold story of Lyme disease, an emerging epidemic larger than AIDS.
