There are still openings available in all weeks of the Eco-Adventures summer nature programs for children at the Nashua River Watershed Association! Come explore and discover our watershed through fun and exciting outdoor activities and nature-oriented games and crafts. Each week will be devoted to a specific age group. Our groups are small and personal, with each session led by a professional environmental educator and naturalist.

All sessions will run Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. Programs will be based at the NRWA’s River Resource Center at 592 Main Street (Rt. 119) in Groton and at Groton’s own Williams Barn at 160 Chicopee Row, with trips to the J. Harry Rich State Forest. The program fee is $170/session for NRWA members and $200/session for non-members. A pre-registration deposit of $75 is required to secure a position. Space is limited – call now!

Session dates and age groups are:

Session I - July 7-10: Ages 8-10
Session II - July 14-17: Ages 6-7
Session III - July 21-24: Ages 8-10
Session IV - August 4-7: Ages 6-7
Adventure Week* - August 11-14: Ages 11-13

*“Adventure Week” is a popular program for older children where the participants hike, paddle, and learn basic backcountry and teambuilding skills.
