Calling all parents and grandparents who would like to learn more about the natural world around you as a way to better connect with the outdoors and with your children. Spend the morning exploring Groton's flora and fauna with Nashua River Watershed Association's River Classroom Director Stacey Chilcoat and come away with great hands-on ideas for sharing nature with children. The two workshops run Wednesday, April 2, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a focus on land ecosystems and Wednesday, April 9, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with a focus on water ecosystems. Come to one workshop day or both!
Registration for these workshops is required. The fees are: $25/day for NRWA members, $35/day for non-members. The workshops will meet at the NRWA River Resource Center, 592 Main Street (Rt. 119), in Groton.
