DRLT Winterfest 2008

The Dunstable Rural Land Trust is having its 12th annual Winterfest on January 27th from 11 am to 3 pm at the DRLT Wildlife Preserve on Main Street. The event is FREE to all.

Activities planned include guided snowshoe and cross-country ski tours. Eastern Mountain Sports will be there with snowshoes to try out. A great sledding hill has been cleared under the Oak Tree, so bring your flying saucer. Ice fishing and ice cutting demos will be ongoing through the day as will be the ever-popular horse drawn sleigh rides. The Boy Scouts will be there too with hot chocolate, coffee, munchies and soups around the bonfire.

Please check DRLG.org on the morning of the event for any cancellation information. If there is no snow, we will still have a lot of fun and activites. The event will only be cancelled in the event of rain.

Please, just for Winterfest, leave your dog at home. They are welcome at all other times.

This is a great opportunity to explore the 340 acres of the DRLT Preserve and be introduced to the trails that are there for you anytime of year. Winterfest is especially fun, a time to be outside and meet some of the great folks who love this town.

DON'T MISS IT!!!
