Regular Trash Disposal

Deposit of trash or any other materials or substances is permitted only when the transfer station is open.

All trash deposited at the transfer station must be in bags and every bag must carry a valid disposal tag. The tag should encircle the neck of the trash bag after it has been closed with the twist tie or similar device. The maximum weight per bag is 40 pounds and the maximum size is 40 gallons.

Recyclables consisting of newspapers, corrugated cardboard, mixed paper, plastics PET (#1) and HPDE (#2), aluminum cans, tin cans, glass (all colors excluding window panes) shall be recycled and not placed in the normal trash stream. (See recycling information.)
