Except as provided for under "bulky items" the list of items prohibited from the Transfer Station includes but is not limited to:

1. Yard waste, including leaves, grass clippings, stumps, brush or logs.
2. Automobile/truck parts or fluids, including batteries, tires, oil or metal work.
3. Demolition materials, including lumber, shingles, wallboard, bricks, concrete or stones.
4. Commercial waste of all kinds.
5. Containers of paints and painting materials which contain oils, solvents or thinners.
6. Chemical waste of any kind and their containers, including degreasers, solvents, solutions of toxic metal salts, corrosives, flammable and explosive materials, or hazardous waste or materials of any kind.
7. Computers, monitors, printers, televisions, batteries, and propane tanks.

Some of these materials may be disposed of using the hazardous waste disposal service or the electronics recycling service.
