Vital Records

The Town Clerk maintains all records of births, deaths, and marriages in the town.

Birth — If you were living in Dunstable at the time of your child's birth, and the birth occurred in a Massachusetts hospital, you may obtain a certified copy of your child's birth certificate from the Town Clerk's office. We do not receive resident copies from hospitals outside of Massachusetts.   Impounded birth certificates are not a public record and may only be examined/obtained by the subject, a parent or by court order.

Marriage — Your marriage license will be on file where you and your spouse first applied for your marriage license.

Death — A death certificate can be obtained if the deceased was residing in the Town of Dunstable and the death occured in Massachusetts.

The fee for obtaining a certified copy of a vital record is $5.00, payable by cash or check.
